CarPal collects vehicle usage data necessary for accurate service timing. This includes mileage, diagnostic trouble codes, and basic vehicle identifiers. We collect only what's needed to provide clear, reliable service reminders.
What we don't collect
We do not collect location history by default. Your routes, destinations, and driving patterns are not tracked or stored unless you explicitly enable location-based features.
How data is used
Your vehicle data is used to calculate service intervals based on actual usage rather than calendar estimates. This information is shared with your connected shop so they can provide timely, relevant service recommendations.
Your control
You can view and manage your data preferences through your account. You control what information is collected and shared. Preferences can be changed at any time.
Data security
Vehicle data is transmitted securely and stored with appropriate safeguards. We don't sell your data to third parties.
